Before Facebook, family blogs were a popular way to share all of your happenings with loved ones. I have had such a long lived love-hate relationship with facebook and have finally decided to rip off the bandaid, breakup with the world of social media, and go cold turkey. I think this will free up some of my valuable time and hopefully bring a greater and more consistant measure of peace to our day. While I do love keeping up with everyone we care about all over the world via facebook, we are also exposed daily to things we wish we weren't or even things that change our mood. So goodbye facebook.
So now what? People don't know how to communicate the "old" way anymore. Everything is via social media, texts, or if your desperate..... email. That is why we are writting this blog. While it won't help us keep informed, it will at least help us to share our life with those who want to know what we're up to. We may not post everyday, but we will try to share our experiences and pictures this way. And if your phone rings, and you see Card on your caller ID, hopefully you answer because we would love to hear about your happenings too :)
