Sometimes we are able to meet Daddy for lunch, or he is able to come home for lunch. This is awesome because he works alot of hours, including Saturdays and his church calling takes up alot of his other time right now so we are lucky to get an hour everyday. During the summer we can usually squeeze in a lunch every 10 days or so. We have our favorite places (the park, our back deck, dairy queen, the gazebo at his work, and the lookout. The convenient thing about Daddy's work is that it is close to everything, including home. Yesterday, Amelia and I picked up some subway and went to get Daddy, When we pulled into the parking lot at his work she cheers "Daddy" but by the time he came out she was asleep with her sunchips. Thankfully she woke up when we arrived at the lookout. The lookout is a picnic area overlooking the Franklin Fall Dam. There is never anyone else there. We love it. We can sit and eat, enjoy the view, and play on the rocks/hill. After we ate, Daddy only had 10 minutes to play so we made the most of it and climbed/hopped rocks. Amelia cried when we dropped Daddy back off at work, and then we spent the rest of the day running errands (and having ice cream). By the end of the day we had very cranky toddler who never wants to see another carseat/grocery carriage again.
What Amelia Loves To Do With Daddy:
Tickles
Watching shows together in bed
Bees, both real and the bee game
Picking Strawberries
Shadow Puppets
Reading Stories/Scriptures
Chasing/Hiding/Tickling Game
