July is Family Month

This month we have have been able to see and visit with lots of family members.  This is such a treat since our family is scattered all over.  First we got to visit with Grandma and Grandpa O, Aunt Theresa, Uncle Jeff, Cousin Tyler, and Chips the Cat.  It was a brief visit, just a few hours, but it was great to see everyone.  We enjoyed Grandma's famous spaghetti and birthday cake in honor of Jeff and Tyler's recent birthdays.  Luckily, Amelia and I were able to visit a little more later in the week.  We spent the rest of the week in Massachusetts visiting with Barron, Pease, Wolcott sides of the family and other friends in CT and Holyoke, MA.

Road Trip:  On our way to Massachusetts.  We started the morning at swim class and then hit the road.  Amelia fell asleep with chocolate donut in hand.

Thankfully we remembered to take a picture on our 2nd visit.  We forgot on our first visit.  Amelia loved seeing Aunt Theresa, Uncle Jeff, and Tyler.  Tyler and Amelia only see each other once a year but they are so sweet to one another.

Aunt Theresa made Amelia this beautiful blanket which quickly became a new favorite.  Here is she "HIDING" as we depart on the final stretch to Massachusetts.

Once in Massachusetts Amelia got to experience what its like to have siblings.  Amelia and Isabelle just had to sleep together, lol.  It wasn't long lived but happened almost every night for a bit.

On Thursday we all (Amelia, Adrian, Isabelle, Jillian, Erin, and Barrent) went into the Berkshires to visit with our Pease family relatives.  We enjoyed  swimming, playing, visiting, and eating at Aunt Gloria's.  It was great to see Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and Great-Cousins.

Uncle Barrent is a huge hit with the nieces and nephews.  He is certainly a favorite and a good sport.

The kids enjoyed playing with Jacqueline and her toys, although Amelia has all of sudden entered the "MINE" phase (which we aren't thrilled about).  Jacqueline is my cousin Carrie's granddaughter.... awesome that they got to play together.

Painting Pinwheels for Papa

The kids painted pinwheels and we brought them to the cemetery for Papa.  It was fun to walk around and show them the names of their deceased family members.  Every stone they saw they wanted to know if it was a relative and wanted to know if they met them.

We HAD to make 2 trips to the country store for ice cream.

After a few days of non-stop fun Amelia finally crashed and napped for a few hours.

Aunty Marissa came over with her dog Thor. The kids loved playing fetch with him.

Uncle Barrent Fun

More Uncle Barrent Fun

We spent Saturday at the lake.  Amelia loved it there.  Nana, Grampy, Aunty Erin, and all the kids were there plus Uncle Tim made an appearance.

She loved riding the jet-ski with Grampy.

She is so stylish.

Gymnastics has taught her great balance.  She was up and down this plank like a pro.

Panoramic view of the lake house.  The water is normally up to the stone wall but because of Dam repairs the water is very low.  As a result docks aren't in their normal places and boating is a challenge.

Panoramic view of the lake.

Learning to Juggle with Daddy who came down for the day.

Stanley Park in Westfield MA on Nana's Lunch Break.
Playing at the Park

Bumpy was struggling with the puzzle so we all helped him.
Playing with Bumpys Antique Ducks.

Visiting Bumpy.  He turned 99 a couple weeks ago.  He loved visiting with the great-grand children.  He has no trouble picking Amelia up and carrying her around.  She loves his antique ducks, and even sat on one in this picture (That duck is more than 100 years old, thankfully it didn't break).

Morning Conversation with Meme

We made Tie-Dye T-shirts.  Lots of fun, and they all came out different.  And the dye came off of our hands/feet/arms/legs/faces after 24 hours.
